You should think of a myspace account as a funny tshirt slogan, and myspace as a pub, and the other people on it as coils of wire, pulsing slightly as they whisper the names of the dead.

You should think of a facebook account as your face, and facebook as a huge mincing machine, and the other people on it as a huge dead mass exerting their gravitional pull on you from just behind the mincing blades.

You should think of a twitter as a little plate with some kitchen roll spread out on it and dampened and each twitter account as a single spire of cress slowly rising out of it and each comment on it as some kind of cancerous growth on your stalk and your twitter feed is where your growths and some of your neighbours growths intertwine and draw you nearer even though the last thing you ever wanted to do was be near them or anyone else anywhere in the world, and especially not on this plate, on this window ledge by the back door.

You are my adversaries! It begins here!

I just watched Big Fish.

I remember when it came out, I saw a trailer and thought "that looks just like the kind of film I like", but for some reason I never went to see it.

I watched it tonight, and it was much better than I hoped. Beautiful and funny and sad and happy. It is the best film I have seen in absolutely ages, and ages, and ages.

Big Fish

Yes, is Tim Burton, yes? Hooray for Tim Burton flims, apart from the ones I haven't seen (Apes, Factory)

Also, really? I assumed it would be awful, for some reason. I might rent it now.

I had vague memories of it getting bad reviews but it has good scores on imdb and rottentomatoes.

I just looked at what Tim Burton has made and apparently I have seen all his films apart from Apes and Ed Wood now, without really trying. Good.

List of best:

1. Big Fish
2. Sleepy Hollow
3. Beetlejuice

I think I will seek out Ed Wood, next

I don't really like Edward Scissorhands though, am I wrong? It has been a long time since I saw it so maybe I actually did.

Ed Wood is excellent.gif. Watch Ed Wood.

Planet o't' Apes is shit apart from Monkey Bonham-Carter, as she at least seems to be having fun.

Egglehands was on over the weekend.

It was quite good.

Best part: music.

Egghands is good, but probably not as good as everyone says it is. I think I love Johnny Depp, though, and he is excellent.gif in it.

I really like Big Fish.

Haven't seen it for an age, though.

We have it on DVD. After spending all evening painting my stupid bedroom.

I was going to say I'd seen this and it was heartwarming and lovely until I realised that I was thinking about Shooting Fish instead.

Gravid speaks the truth about Scissorhands.

As for Planet Of The Apes, it's acceptable mindless popcorn fun until the final 30 minutes when it turns into a shambolic mess.

ADDITIONAL: I do Bonham Carter as an ape. Especially if I'd had a couple of quick beers beforehand.

Haha, Space. I download a Space song the other day, on purpose. I really regret it. I am going to delete it, right now. It's not even going to the recycle bin. I am going to delete it with the evil command prompt "del" command, like on that day when all my porn made me feel guilty.

It's dead. All the world has died while I slept. This world belongs to somebody else whom I don't know. Perhaps to the Groke.

She seeks friendship and warmth, but she is declined by everyone and everything, leaving her in her cold cavern on top of the Lonely Mountains.

I own the album 'Spiders' by Space and have a couple of other tracks of theirs on tape.

I thought they were a touch more interesting than most typical guitar bands.

I quite like "me and you versus the world". I tried to type this last night but I was too drunk and gave up. The singer's voice was quite annoying, though. And the guitarists face was even worse.

If you thought Tommy Scotts voice was bad, the other chaps (Jamie the guitarist - I think) was even worse!

The police would still find it though - remember what happened to Shipman.
