You should think of a myspace account as a funny tshirt slogan, and myspace as a pub, and the other people on it as coils of wire, pulsing slightly as they whisper the names of the dead.

You should think of a facebook account as your face, and facebook as a huge mincing machine, and the other people on it as a huge dead mass exerting their gravitional pull on you from just behind the mincing blades.

You should think of a twitter as a little plate with some kitchen roll spread out on it and dampened and each twitter account as a single spire of cress slowly rising out of it and each comment on it as some kind of cancerous growth on your stalk and your twitter feed is where your growths and some of your neighbours growths intertwine and draw you nearer even though the last thing you ever wanted to do was be near them or anyone else anywhere in the world, and especially not on this plate, on this window ledge by the back door.

On recommendations from people from here. I think. I am playing Planescape: Torment. Seems pretty good so far, and I'm not one for these pointy-hatted 100-side-die games normally. However, the idea of a city of portals to every part of existence is one that appeals to me. Having just had an explanation of how the planes are laid out from a bearded man in a tavern, however, I now have a headache and a confused expression on my faece. And I'm going to bed.

In other news, having got a lightsaber in Jedi Knight II, it has suddenly bumblejank the best game evar

I have been playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. Before that I was playing THPS3. For some reason I have spent this entire year so far virtually skating, I don't know why. The games have an odd appeal.

serious sam is quite good... but does get slightly dull because the enemies have no AI - they just run towards you screaming.

Get xiii. Tis excellent, and features Adam West, and sniper crossbow, and snow. Gaymen were selling xbox version for 98p recently. But don't give spoilers please, as finished it have not I.

I quite like the GBA Tony Hawk games, they made them from 3D to sort-of-isometric very well I think. Clever girls.

XVIII looks excellent.

I would like to get that too.

If I was to buy one first person shooter for my eggbox or camcub, which one would be best one to get to play on my computers?

Cel-shaded, French, violent, and with a jazz soundtrack. What's not to like?
