You should think of a myspace account as a funny tshirt slogan, and myspace as a pub, and the other people on it as coils of wire, pulsing slightly as they whisper the names of the dead.

You should think of a facebook account as your face, and facebook as a huge mincing machine, and the other people on it as a huge dead mass exerting their gravitional pull on you from just behind the mincing blades.

You should think of a twitter as a little plate with some kitchen roll spread out on it and dampened and each twitter account as a single spire of cress slowly rising out of it and each comment on it as some kind of cancerous growth on your stalk and your twitter feed is where your growths and some of your neighbours growths intertwine and draw you nearer even though the last thing you ever wanted to do was be near them or anyone else anywhere in the world, and especially not on this plate, on this window ledge by the back door.

I've just got a really hard bit in Baldur's Gate 2, with bloody Beholders. They're nigh on impossible to krill.

In theory, that's excellent.

Is it as good as the afformentioned theory?

Also, I have downloaded System Shock 2, and patched it so it looks a bit better, and it is really quite good.

One of my favourite games ever.

I got F.E.A.R. the other day as I found it cheap in GAME.

They should have named it

D.U.L.L.

Haha!

I see what you have done there, and it is amusing. Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak!

Zodiac is good. Although the plot is a bit poor.

Zodiac is great. I found the ludicrous plot, and Paul's deadpan acceptance of it, quite satisfyingly actually. The first level is a bit rubbish though.

OTHER DEUS EX MODS:

Redsun 2020: No, I don't went to spend hours wandering around lost in a pitch black train station, thanks.

Hotel Carone: Arrrgh! Enforced stealth! Bonus points for it recognising my hostage 'rescue' technique when I got bored (knock them out and throw them out the window), but why would they blow up the hotel (leading to your 'death') when I'm outside, I've rescued all the hostages, and the only people in the hotel are terrorists? IDIOT TERRORISTS.

Sadly, no. You can "accidentally" blow him to little bits, though.

Hurrah! I've downloaded System Shock 2 and got it working. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, though.

I am playing Halflife 2, on my eggbbox.

It is not particularly engaging and suffers from a lot of slowdown. I only have one pop-gun at the moment and it is very weak.

I like the strafing though.

I like to strafe.

Surely you need a maus and WASD controls to properly appreciate Half Life 2?

Also, if you get 'Doom 3: Limited Collector's Edition' on Eggbox, you get free disc with Classic Doom 1 & 2 on, which you can play 4-player split screen. I would liek thsi

Ves. My friend offered to pick up a second copy of this highly sought-after bundle when he saw a few on offer in Colchester.

Sadly, I declined.

What an idiot I was.

If they are exact copies of the PC versions they will have excellant/rubbash bleepy MIDI music, though. I understand you were raised on the PS version. Despite the chopped-up and cut-down levels, and missing monsters, this remains one of the best versions due to its exc? and disturbing soundtrack

I am playing: We Love Katamari. It is lovely and nice and lovely. Rolling up people is the best thing ever... until you roll up fences, cars, buildings... I won't spoil it. Just play it, father.

Nanostray looks interesting.

But I don't know if I'll bother with magic knight & Luigi 2. The children look annoying.

One of the best atmosphere in any game ever was to be found in the little gem KING'S FIELD.

Was an early Playstation FPS. You got to invade an nest of giants ants and explore with clanky sword. Everything was very very slow.

It is excellemt.

Also, Psychonauts looks like best game ever ever
