Also, why did they stop playing hoofball in extra time? The Argentinians couldn't handle it towards the end of the 90, so why revert back to something they could handle? A daft decision, imo.

I was wondering this too. The answer seems to be "extra time may never be entertaining, it is illegal".

We were unlucky, we should've had another penalty, and if, at this stage of the tournament, you miss penalties that come your way, then you're screwed.

I'd keep Southgate on, because I don't genuinely see anyone else doing a better jorb than him in the role.

Croatia looked really good for the first 20 minutes or so, but after the penalty they never looked like getting back into it for a second.

I missed most of the first half (drum lesson) but Morocco looked the better team for the part of the match that I saw. Some lovely passing moves. Just seemed to lack... erm... penetration

Argentina vs France does feel like a pretty classic World Cup final though. Messi vs Mbappé and all that. Tough to call.
