aaaaaargh
Re: aaaaaargh
Excellent, thank you. Also this is based on an old (maybe really old) children's book script I made, that was rejected by many publishers, though that had more whales in it though, both on earth and in heaven (space)
Re: aaaaaargh
Is amaze
Re: aaaaaargh
Someone should definitely make that book.
Re: aaaaaargh
Although maybe a gif is its natural form.
You should "sell" the "NFT" for a million pounds at auction.

Re: aaaaaargh
Your use of size and scale always impresses me, Davusk. Lovely!
Re: aaaaaargh
also i'd love for thatbook to be made but i'm almost certain it never will be
Re: aaaaaargh
nor any other book of mine
Re: aaaaaargh
that dragon book is all there is
Re: aaaaaargh
what about the bear book
Re: aaaaaargh
also spiders are no longer wonderful
Re: aaaaaargh
This would have been better with some ambient street noise as background, and narration instead of titlecards, probably, but i am incapable of either
Re: aaaaaargh
Very nice. And the coke can rolling away into the distance is a lovely touch.
Re: aaaaaargh
Have you tried dicking about with the Notevibes speech synth, Davo, for narration purposes? And maybe https://freesound.org for bkg sounds?
I'd offer my services for the narration, but noone deserves to have their work spoilt by the hybrid voice of Stan Collymore and Noddy Holder!
Re: aaaaaargh
I don't like voice synths really (for what I want, any how)
Re: aaaaaargh
I want actors goddammit!
Re: aaaaaargh
Also thank you for that link i'll have a look. imovie has some sound effects (like that dog barking in one of these videos, and some ocean sound i used in another) but i always find using generic library sounds a bit disappointing
i don't know why
i don't know why
Re: aaaaaargh
David has been banned really hard
Re: aaaaaargh
its about time this happened
Re: aaaaaargh
I didn't use any of these in the end but i did find a video of a street on my phone where the audio wasn't too bad (anything filmed on my camera is basically nothing but the sound of wind causes interference with everything). so maybe i will try recording sounds on my phone occasionallyblombluss wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 1:22 amHave you tried dicking about with the Notevibes speech synth, Davo, for narration purposes? (also no longer has words, because the words were a bit cumbersome)
Re: aaaaaargh
that might be the most underwhelming street noise audio ever
Re: aaaaaargh
Is It Wrong To Strike A Match Just To Watch It Burn?
Re: aaaaaargh
I made that before the paperclip one, as you can tell by the thickness of the note pad
Re: aaaaaargh
one more i reckon and then i'll have finished that cube of notes up all the way to death
Re: aaaaaargh
Also that match one doesn't really loop properly, clearly, but for some reason I couldn't quite manage to draw another match being picked up and lit in any sort of satisfactory way
Re: aaaaaargh
brilliant things
Re: aaaaaargh
excellent, thank you both
Re: aaaaaargh
also all my videos on youtube still get inundated with all those spam "vom.in.lol" style comments every fucking time i upload one. even when the description has no mention of vom at all
Re: aaaaaargh
its strangely wearying
Re: aaaaaargh
for some unknown reason
Re: aaaaaargh
I'll stop posting them sorry
Re: aaaaaargh
Wink
I am winking
I am winking
Re: aaaaaargh
I love the paperclip one particularly
Re: aaaaaargh
There is the theory of the mobius
Re: aaaaaargh
and thats the end of my notepad of notepapers
Re: aaaaaargh
Excellent
Re: aaaaaargh
I LIKE THESE THINGS!
Re: aaaaaargh
Also - I think the theory of the mobius is cute, and should possibly be turned into a wacky cartoon character.
