Let there be light
I've always disliked indoor lighting to some extent, all yellow and dark and wrong, so when I actually saw some 'cool white' lightbulbs in Robert Dyas yesterday I thought I'd take a punt on them once I checked which ones I needed, so I went back into town this afternoon and bought some. And it's absolutely amazing. Much brighter, much more 'normal', and my mood has lifted considerably. If you're a fellow hater of artificial light then I recommend trying this out for yourself - I never even knew there was such a thing as 'cool white' till recently. I don't think I'll be buying a 'warm white' (yellow) bulb ever again.

Interesting, ves. I have a floor standing lamp that has various light modes from warm to cool, although i usually keep mine on warm as it helps me relax, and gradually turn it down as it gets later.

LEDs are marvellous things

I like my women like I like my lightbulbs - all yellow, dark and wrong.
My eyes have always been a bit rubb - bright light makes my eyes water, in dusk-y light I can't see much, and at night all the bright coloured lights merge and swish about, so things get a bit abstract-y for me.
