Eggland weren't great, but they were rather better than they were against Nigeria. They also kept fairly cool when they went a goal down, so overall, a decent-ish performance, and I think we just about deserved the win.

Australia disappointed me, a tad. I thought they'd play like absolute whirling dervishes, being powered by that massive home support. Aside from a short spell after their equalizer, and another period towards the end of the match, I don't think they built up too much of a head of steam, which is what I think they needed to do to win. And of course Sam Kerr should've put at least one of those missed chances away, which would've changed the match quite a bit!

As for England, I thought we played rather well, and we absolutely didn't play the occasion, and we deserved to win! Hurrah!

I'm 60/40 in Spain's favour. And as much as I like slow, deliberate, fancy dan possession football, I really do think our best chance is to put them on the back foot with route one football into their box for the first 20 minutes or so, which puts them under pressure and reduces the risks of England losing possession in dangerous areas. After 20 minutes or so, it might be time to get the ball down and play a bit more, but if we try to go toe to toe with Spain's technical football, I think we're going to come off second best.
