Mine had gotten really expensive because I did that thing where I was too lazy to protest until it crossed a ridiculous threshold. I phoned them up and they knocked a huge amount off the monthly bill and also made it much faster. Who's laughing now??? (Them, because I overpaid for years, obviously)

As soon as I can get full fibre, I'm switching. I'm with Sky at the moment because they're the only ones who could actually set up a connection when I moved in. The annoying thing was, it was cheaper to get the TV bundle included than to not get it. But it is only SD. And you have to pay for a TV licence and more for HD. So I did that and now it obviously costs more. I am a mug

I once had a very wearying phonecall with bt where they explained that the reason the price went up despite them telling us it was price guaranteed was that it's actually "price cut" guaranteed and so I still got the same price cut even it was just now applied to the price they'd just put up. Every month. Foreverever

...I take a new offer up with them, which is identical to the package I've currently got, and which will save me a quid a month...
