I am compelled to point out that this was, in fact, an advert for Playtime Popcorn.

But yeah, that was a fascinating article. That sort of thing happened a lot in B-movie / exploitation / sci-fi adjacent cinema - old scripts being Frankensteined into new ones with the application of some Tipp-Ex. Sometimes they even got made! And I really wish this could have existed, seeing as it was sort of "apart" from the main series as the two Dalek movies were.
