I'm not going to link to everything I've done for fAWM lately, but here are the last three ones for this year, including one I just uploaded

You (Can't Teach You) Can't Teach (You Can't Teach) People

Motorcade

Rapid Deployment

All good clean fun, these!

Ma particular fave is the relentless repetitious intensity of the first track - it very much works for me!

i've spent all day listening to all of voms and michelles songs and i loved all of them (except that terrible donald trump one (sorry vom (not that its your fault obviously)))

Post by **dng** » Wed Mar 05, 2025 5:52 pm

I'm going to listen again now

Post by **dng** » Wed Mar 05, 2025 5:53 pm

Also is it still possible to download things from fawn now or has that been disabled?

CandyDarling · Post by **CandyDarling** » Wed Mar 05, 2025 7:07 pm

I think everything remains as it is until March 15, when they put it all in hibernation for another year and reset everything. In case you want to download any of my stuff, I did put up this page a couple of days ago on my webhost - https://www.tizzcomics.com/fawm/

Post by **dng** » Wed Mar 05, 2025 7:29 pm

Excellent, thank you

Post by **vom** » Wed Mar 05, 2025 10:57 pm

You have to tick a box to make things downloadable and I probably haven't done it consistently on mine

Probably easier to just go here: https://vomvorton.co.uk/music/fawm/fawm25/

BTW - in case anyone wants a full quality FLAC / 320K MP3 / WAV file of "The Fall Of The House Of The House Of B. Blanc", I'm releasing that tomorrow on my Bandcamp for a pound. It's coming out tomorrow because it's Bandcamp Friday again then.

Post by **dng** » Fri Mar 07, 2025 10:51 am

hooray

Post by **dng** » Fri Mar 07, 2025 10:51 am

also is bandcamp still okay or have those arseholes that bought it last year just not had enough time to ruin it yet

CandyDarling · Post by **CandyDarling** » Fri Mar 07, 2025 10:55 am

Bandcamp is doing well enough, yes. I think the people who bought it have forgotten they own it or something. I mean, they're still allowed to do the Bandcamp Friday thing

Post by **vom** » Fri Mar 07, 2025 12:52 pm

Yeah it still seems okay so far. There seem to be a few new sites cropping up trying to be even more artist-friendly but I have bought hundreds of things on Bandcamp now so I'm sticking it out unless it completely explodes

It is

Post by **vom** » Mon May 19, 2025 6:21 am

having another go at Nur Ein as part of some kind of supergroup that spans three continents. For the first round song I play one of the guitar parts, bass, some of the synth and contribute backing vocals, we are "Le Tits Now"

Post by **dng** » Mon May 19, 2025 2:41 pm

Excellent, i like that

Post by **blombluss** » Wed May 21, 2025 8:46 pm

Most pleasing, that, and the singer sounds like the bloke in 90s indie band Perfume, which is a further positive for me! Hurrah!

Post by **vom** » Wed May 21, 2025 8:49 pm

Cheers! I only very vaguely remember Perfume. We'll probably rotate the vocals, second song is currently in progress...

Post by **vom** » Mon May 26, 2025 7:31 am

Here is song 2. This time I played guitar, synth, added the lo-fi intro and wrote and sang the third verse

this week's song!

https://nure.in/titles/65ECB57DA68B2B2773EC3F88675717A3

I took a bit of a back seat on this one as I had a lot going on, so I'm only on acoustic guitar and outro synth

Post by **dng** » Mon Jun 16, 2025 9:42 am

a back synth
