Soccerball Therad
Re: Soccerball Therad
didn't take long did it?
i assume he's looking forward to another big pay-off, having already made about 250 million pouns from all his sackings so far

Premium quality 'bants' there!
Re: Soccerball Therad
'Ed Sheeran' will be Ipswich Town's shirt sponsor next season.
So less the Tractor Boys, more the GALWAY GIRLS I believe that is one of his songs, so my comment does make sense!!!

Re: Soccerball Therad
I hope he insists they play that every time ipswich score a goal so all their players are too scared to ever score a goal again
Re: Soccerball Therad
Heh!
Could they stay up if they draw all their matches 0-0? It might just about be possible.

I see potential England manager Wayne Rooney's Derby County are in rather a pickle.
How odd. How can this be? For is it not written that all high profile England international footballers will become very good managers?![]()
Absolute shoo-in for the Spurs job now.

I think you have to pass an extensive and thorough 'are you an arsehole?' test to become a chairman.dng wrote: Sat May 08, 2021 11:30 am i think the southend chairman might be the most pathetic man in existence

Re: Soccerball Therad
Wolves are on the telly again to-morrow. Against Brighton (12pm BBC 1)
They surely can't be as bad again as they were against Burnley, can they?
NARRATOR: Yes.

Thanks Brightvuss!
Re: Soccerball Therad
I always feel a bit sad when all the relegated places in a division are confirmed. Unless my club has just escaped by the skin of their teeth, of course.
Re: Soccerball Therad
Man Utd you have messed up
Re: Soccerball Therad
C'mon Leicester! Do it for the greater Midlands!
Re: Soccerball Therad
Leicester in MAROON?!?!
They'll definitely lose, now. :'(
Re: Soccerball Therad
Of course when I said "They'll definitely lose, now. :'(", I was referring to Chelsea.
Re: Soccerball Therad
Lovely leicester
Re: Soccerball Therad
VAR is still irredeemably shit though
Re: Soccerball Therad
Average match, great goal, two really good saves from Schmeichel, and Chelsea were rather unfortunate, I thought.
I'm still chuffed that Leicester won, mind. Y'know, one of those unimportant non-Super League clubs, and you could really see how much it meant to their players and fans alike.

Re: Soccerball Therad
I'd forgotten all about that! It's a strong look, imo.richschnauzer wrote: Sun May 16, 2021 3:36 pmdo you remember when Paulo Fonseca dressed up as Zorro at a press conference.dng wrote: Sun May 16, 2021 3:20 pm The Black Country Blade sounds like the name of some wolverhampton zorro

Re: Soccerball Therad
then barcelona passed the ball round for an hour and nothing else really happened till the final whistle

Re: Soccerball Therad
It's strange how the man united fans only seem to hate their owners when they're playing liverpool, isn't it
Re: Soccerball Therad
Ha! Good point!
Re: Soccerball Therad
oh no nuno :'(
He's the best thing to happen to Wolves for years and years. We weren't great this season, granted, but considering the injuries (to Raul Jimenez in particular), and selling some of our best players, we were solid and mostly free from relegation worries for a fair chunk of the season. A stoopid decision in my opinion.

Re: Soccerball Therad
Weep. Lovely nuno
Re: Soccerball Therad
I assume he left though rather than being sacked surely
Re: Soccerball Therad
The "by mutual agreement" bit is cobblers, I reckons. The board thought the team were on the slide, and decided to "freshen" things up with a new managerial appointment. Nuno deserved another season for he's done, and if by the end of next season things weren't great, then, and only then, should they have given him his cards.
Wolves will rue this day.
