Games
Re: Games
it looks like the post game stuff i haven't done yet (will never do, ever) in final fantasy 12 is even more exciting than the end game section described above
https://finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Yi ... ntasy_XII)
Yiazmat is the ultimate Elite Mark in Final Fantasy XII. It is not only the ultimate mark, but also the ultimate boss. Defeating Yiazmat takes at least an hour at high levels and player skill, but usually takes longer. Yiazmat has well over 50 million hit points
(the most damage you can do in a single hit is about 10000)

"With games for adults." ??
Leisure Suit Larry Simulator, p'raps?
Whilst liking some of their output, I was always TEAM Mastertronic!

Re: Games
As my nieces and nephews are here, I have been forced to play zelda games 24 hours a day. After doing Wind Waker 2 years ago (still wondrously lovely) and then skyward sword (much worse and infinitely more wearyingly tedious than i remembered) i am now playing twilight princess again.
it's pretty miserable.a lso it look sterrible (i'm playing the wii version on an HD tv, so obviously it looks balls, but everything's so dark and boring looking it wouldn't really matter if i was playing the HD version anyway)
but it does have this amazing baby man in it that i'd forgotten all about so it's not all bad

Re: Games

Re: Games
Pretty certain my friend Michaels dad had the EXECUTIVE to keep his Commodore 64 in, as I remember the roll top bit.
Cthulu bum you!
Re: Games
For our dragon 32 we had one a bit like that top one, but it also had a floor to it, where we stored our joysticks and stuff. I think my dad might have made it himself though. And also we had a tv from the co-op that was even branded with a co-op logo on it like they'd made it themselves.

Re: Games
Imagine if you had a TV in a school-type wheeled cabinet in your own house. The Queen would be envious of such a thing
Also I love the idea of a Co-Op branded TV. I wish other small supermarkets had done that, like Fine Fare or whatever. The latest 16" colour Wavy Line portable TV, complete with Teletext (Fastext not invented yet)

Re: Games
I'm currently watching a video 'bout retro game Youtubers Top Hat Gaming Man and Lady Decade (his other half), and their alleged woe-is-me grift, as well as the fact that they pay someone to write their Y/T scripts, and am now thinking: "Why am I giving a toss about this shite?"
Re: Games
Oh, I'd somehow missed that Netshift/Blackshift (by the bloke that did n3ta fave Super Serif Bros over fifteen years ago) finally did get an updated Steam release a couple of years back

Still fiendish

Re: Games
I played Old Man's Journey, which is one of those melancholy indie games without much gameplay that I usually like. But in this case I thought it was shit for some reason? At least it was short. I should probably play an Actual Game next as this maybe wasn't the ideal change of pace after Night in the Woods
Re: Games
(inevitably all the other unplayed games I have on switch are sad indie games with no actual gameplay)

i'd quite like this
