I likes this - Jelly Load

Using YouTube to transmit / receive Vic 20 game files via the medium of photo resistors.

A similar light-based system for transmitting Vic 20 games is already in use during episodes of Loose Women. :D

and what a wonderful line up of games it has as well. A worthwhile purchase for sure.

both Sony and MS have somehow made pointless consoles for this generation.

My sister visited this weekend and was happily playing the Broken Sword rehamster, for which she contributed, so she is in the credits. I am rather delighted to find that, because she wanted it, so am I.

that is quite nice! at one point I started trailing colours behind me and everything went slow-motion and I wasn't sure if it was on purpose

I wish I could trail colours behind me like that. It'd be one in the eye for my detractors.

my sister gave me an old 2tb hard drive last week so i've been putting all my ps4 games on that so that hopefully if my ps4 crashes again i won't have to re download everything all over again again (although you can't put your saves on it so that'd still all be fucked anyway)

i think the largest game was 100GB, although loads and loads of random stuff you'd t hink would be small still takes up like 10GBs or so, no matter what

I bought an eggbox "series s" recently and I have this, I am enjoying it so far although as soon as they try to remove a game I'm still playing I will turn on it completely and throw the console out onto the street

Haha, some of the achievements that I *have* got have been pretty tenuous ("clean this one thing last / first" etc) so I think trying to get to 100% on this would be madness

I finally finished Twilight Princess a few weeks ago, for the entertainment of ehis (who was visiting) and my sister (who has watched me play almost all of it, with the exception of the Snowpeak dungeon and a few ancillary bits). It took about six months from start to finish, to accommodate my sister's wish to watch me play it, so I kept forgetting how to use various items, especially the wind boomerang, and had to be reminded, but other than that I managed to complete it without any outside assistance, so I'm quite pleased with myself. And I found all the ghosts and all the insects, but only 42 of the stamps (it was the Wii U version) because bugger that.

Next up is Phantom Hourglass, a rare Zelda in that my sister's only completed it once so doesn't actually have a meaningful advantage over me at it. She apparently only wanted to watch me play Twilight Princess and isn't bothered about seeing the others, so I'm hoping that by this time next year I'll have actually reached the Switch-only games. We shall see.

I am playing a Zelda. It's good, but I also definitely can't be bothered to build all these machines that I think it wants me to carefully build out of bits of wood and rocks and ancient rockets (?).

I'm theoretically playing Echoes of Wisdom but I can't seem to muster much enthusiasm for it. Especially now that I've become distracted by the new Indiana Jones game, which is best game ever
