Probably just a Zelda. I think Tears of the Kingdom was £60. I remember splashing out for a couple of obscure imports etc in the GameCube era but I doubt any of them cost more than that

I think I donated over £100 to the Shenmue III kickstarter in a moment of excitement. I've still never played it.

Although I'm considering spending £600 or whatever a PS5 costs to play GTA VI when that comes out next year. Even though that would obviously be an insane thing to do.

I paid for two months of Microsoft Ultimate Game Pass and only played Silksong during that time, and then decided I wasn't getting my money's worth so I cancelled Microsoft Ultimate Game Pass but I hadn't finished Silksong yet so I had to buy it

What's the most expensive game you've ever bought? I'm asking everyone EXCEPT dng.
Mine was £20 for Defender of the Crown on t'Amiga.
Was it worth it? Yeah, definitely!

That's Mario 64 (on the 3D All-Stars game for the Switch) finished for the umpteenth (third, probably) time. I got all 120 stars and I think I only had to look up five, which isn't too bad. In three cases the answer turned out to be 'keep trying what you were trying before, but do it better, you idiot'. Also I managed to defeat Bowser on the first try in all three fights, which is definitely a first for me.

In relation to the earlier talk about large sums being spent on Kickstarters and games and all that: I splashed out on the final last ever forever ZX Spectrum Next Kickstarter several months ago in a moment of madness. But it was actually quite a good pruchase from the looks of things (not correcting that typo). It's actually coming along quite nicely, lots of frequent updates and honest talk about the complications from FUCKING TARIFFS. I think I may finally get it around April, and then I will have a tinker around with it and then never ever use it ever again

that's a 68030 running at that speed probably
A1200s and CD32s came with a 14mhz 68020 as standard, so that is cheating a bit

Play a slightly tarted up Stunt Car Racer in yer browser!

I used the cursor keys to control the car rather than the game's default control keys.

To be fair, it’s hardly going to be much different. 1. There are monsters. 2. You hunt them.

You could be a hunter who is also a monster, I suppose.

They're really good, assuming you like hunting monsters (for several hundred hours a game)
