The Mews
Re: The Mews
What the hell is this crap?
https://news.sky.com/story/starmer-rule ... s-13260436
"Sir Keir Starmer has ruled out an early general election after a petition calling for a second vote reached two million signatures.
The petition was launched over the weekend and says there should be another vote, just four months after Labour won a landslide, because they have "gone back on their promises they laid out in the lead up to the last election".
By Monday mid-morning, it had reached two million signatures and was climbing fast."
----------
And the petition is being promoted by the Tories and Reform?
What an absolute waste of time! Jeez!

Yeah, I've kind of given up at every level above state. Preserve a broken system that hurts people, or smash it to pieces and hurt them even more?
Maybe the best i can do is helping those around me.
Her father had been an engineer and she was also continuously 'playing with forbidden things', all of which contributed to her designated position.

I look at the Guardian front page in the morning, and that's it for the day. It's too much of a downer, otherwise.
