I had a brief tinker with the 'Spaces' and 'Replicate' versions, and the next thing I knew, a whole hour had just disappeared without warning.CandyDarling wrote: Sun May 07, 2023 11:11 pm
Produced with the partial aid of this AI text-to-speech (I ran the Google Collab version)

A bold new look for https://michellelyons.neocities.org/
(I haven't been hacked, I did this as a lark, and as I had the original site saved all this time)
(Also: the most recent configuration of the site required me to pay $5 a month, and I've had to give that up, so this did as an amusing HTML5-free substitute)
(Also also: I edited the site a bit to adjust the formerly insanely strobing GIFs, remove old phone numbers, etc)

Also, it created this:
A: (levitates ominously)
B: (imitates birdsong in a strange and beguiling way)
A: "Sorry."
B: "What?"

Which is better than anything I've written, in AGES!

One Damn Thing After Another
An attempt at writing a short text adventure that could technically be played on an old 8-bit / 16-bit computer. Even a Spectrum, though you would need a 128K model for it to fit in RAM. Anyway, a DOS version is embedded into the itch.io page. I made it using PunyInform, which is a cut down version of the standard Inform "library" small enough to fit under 30K. It won't blow anyone away but it's more of an experiment than anything else.

At some point I'll produce a version which fixes the vagueness - because the other puzzles revolve around taking things, it would make sense for this last bit to follow that order somehow
