Thanks for the latest comment, Vom - I like that description of the switch-ups being "jarring yet cohesive", as that's basically what I had in mind! I've never properly investigated csound as it seemed to be primarily based around Linux, and you had to compile it yourself on Windows / Mac (or maybe that was the case back in the day).
Sonic Pi is essentially a wrapper around SuperCollider that runs on multiple platforms - it was originally targeted at Raspberry Pis, hence the name. It does tend to choke on faster BPMs depending on what you're doing - maybe because it's an interpreted language like how BASIC works...
Here is my second track:
Drinks And Nibbles

I barely even remember how I used csound but it must have been some kind of windows version - this would have been about 2001. One of the many things from my university course I wish I'd actually put some proper effort into

I suddenly came up with two songs early this morning:
https://write.fawm.org/songs/309519
and
https://write.fawm.org/songs/309698
I only just uploaded the second as it needed a bit of work, but I had another type of work to do in the daytime
There is also a third one which is
really stupid, which might be finished tomorrow

Just replied to this on the site, good track! If you're having trouble with lyrics at the moment, shall we do one of those collabs FAWM allows you to do? You can do the music and I can come up with the lyrics / vocals - maybe suggest a basic idea of what you have in mind word-wise...

Ah yeah that'd be good! I'm struggling a bit with basic ideas too though... I can probably supply an instrumental or I'm happy to take a set of lyrics and see what I can do with it!

Alright - if you're able to supply an instrumental we'll go with that. I'll message you my email.

Wrote lyrics and sang on this big fuzzy song that a friend wrote:

Played drums on a four-track song that ended up being an ironic tribute to Trump that I feel doesn't really push the irony hard enough? But it sounds good otherwise

thank you for the ongoing kind words!
this one technically takes me to 14 for the month but that includes a song I only did backing vocals on and the four-track one above where I only drummed, and also I have tomorrow off work so I'm hoping I can get another couple of ideas sketched out
anyway:

Appreciate that "Pedal On The Spacebar" song! That suspected major downturn of the US economy can't come soon enough...
