All purchases should come with a free Mumm-Ra. Even bread and milk!!!!111

for once we are in complete agreement

I had and also still have that fisher price garage

'Popples' left no impression on my mouldy brane.

My sisters had a video with some kind of animated popples film / TV special on it alongside Sylvanian families and maybe something else

I think the popples one had a pretty catchy theme song

Wikipedia to the rescue

Actually maybe it was the Sylvanian Families theme song that was catchy

No I will NOT simply check

Ha! I remember Sylvanian Families from back in the day. I'm pretty sure someone on the Twitters is creating amusing photo-scenes using those dolls, and making them say bad words like 'heck', and 'hecking'.

Oh gawd, I know this one. Is yer chap on the right in The Sweet(?), and that's his Dad, or his Dad works down that pit? Something like that?

Leicester cheese man is a bit DLT for comfort, and Lancashire cheese man is Trevor Bannister in... Are You Brie-ing Served?

is this the first mainstream appearance of slash fiction?

Ha!

Also, rather than it being 'A DOG 'n' BONE PRODUCTION', surely it ought to be a '38P PER MIN? YOUR DAD'S GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU PRODUCTION'?

When I was on Twitter in a previous lifetime, I was subscribed to the official Sylvanian Families Twitter account, as I loved them as a kid. They were more for my sister, but of course: MTF.

I still do love them and I want to buy some but they're incredibly expensive

"Sylvanian Fam-leees! Only from - To-my!"

They're charming, especially within their surroundings!

‘A huge amount of nostalgia’: end of an era as London’s famed Sylvanian Families shop shuts.

I'm not a fan of these new, edgier Pokemon characters.

This is what we all had to do in the Victorian-era before Facebook came on the scene!

That's not a poem

(it's a jug-ra)

Charles is about to ascend to the throne
And flay all the flesh from William's bones
With Camilla's support, and Andrew as well
He'll open a flaming portal to Hell

Harry and Meghan swoop in on a horse
(With golden skin, and wings of course)
But slowed down by the public hate
They find they've arrived hours too late

Kate is screaming, her husband's skull
Vibrates at high pitch, starts the cull
No babies left in the empire
But Queen Liz staggers from the fire

I'M BACK she yells as the portal closes
Head swathed in a crown of roses
MY APPETITE HAS ONLY GROWN
she smiles
she salivates
the public waits
as she spies the infants, stacked about the throne

excellent
