I've been playing all day and have nearly got up to where I stopped last time (3 years ago). I'm actually starting to feel optimistic about this.

I saw a woman drinking a pint, once.
Even now, many years later, I have nightmares about the incident.

It's a nice machine, but who the heck was going to pay £300 for a C16 with 64k and some mediocre built in productivity software, especially when the C64 was about £100 cheaper? So dumb.

It's a good computer, and the homebrew scene have produced some lovely stuff on it like Pets Rescue. Also, its version of Stunt Car Racer runs rather faster than that on the C64, due to it's speedier CPU.

There's no way I'd go there just to see Corrie's Betty Turpin in the flesh. Stan Ogden, on the other hand... WAHEY! *performs lewd gesture*.
Also, I presume Vom's going there for the opening, as Belper is his turf!

I must have told my story before about Buzz Aldrin being friends with someone my dad used to work with, because of some astronomy-related thing, and staying at his house, and my dad's colleague staying with the Aldrins, and so on. It is the best thing.
