I might be wrang, but my first thought is - Neeson?!? Nay-son more like!!!1111 He just doesn't feel 'right' to me, but maybe he's good at deadpan comedy, I don't really know.

Is that the plot of 'Alien' translated into Japanese or something, then translated into Italan, before being translated back into Ingleesh? :D

I've just watched 'Liam Neeson Vs The Girls', and both he and that scene are pretty good!

Did you enjoy it? Does it follow the plot of the film? How do they do the make-up for the characters who change age between 1955 and 1985?

You might still enjoy it for nostalgia but the songs are poo and there's some very odd moments.

I have not seen Only Fools, is it still on in London, I can go do that.

Not particularly bothered if I ever see 3 or 4

I have been going to the cinema more often recently as a branch of Picturehouse has opened near me. I have seen Funeral Parade Of Roses, the Brian Eno documentary that is approxminately 50% different every time it is screened, a re-release of Robocop, and most recently I attempted to see the new documentary on Blur.

I say "attempted", as I had to bail halfway through as it was shot in patented ShakyCamVision. As a result, watching it blown up to the size of a typical cinema screen genuinely set off my motion sickness. This didn't happen with Eno, because the crew involved had a tripod. I'm going to have to catch the rest on streaming at a later time.

Hello again!

(EDIT: I forgot to mention that I had a dream the night after the disastrous Blur screening. I dreamt I ordered something via Just Eat, and it was delivered by a grinning Alex James. I can remember nothing else from this dream)

There is a Picturehouse (the Phoenix) round the corner from me, but I never think to see what's on. The last time I went there was for the Frank Sidebottom documentary, or maybe a showing of Dr Strangelove - pre-covid anyway. I'm relieved it's still going.

I contributed to the Kickstarter of that Frank Sidebottom doc. I got a DVD and a Blu-ray of the movie in return. I gave my sister the Blu-ray, as she's mad over the late Frank / Chris Sievey.
