Hello
there is a cool retro gaming thing, where we can challenge each other to high scores or other things. it's all legit, new games being added all the time. i am daren42 if you want to join. Is free.

Yes, somehow turning 8 bit games of about 16k each into hd streams of presumably 1 gig every few minutes might be the most inefficient use of resources yet

I'm fine with keyboard controls as long as they're along the lines of:
O - left
P - right
Q - up
A - down
SPACE - fire
RETURN - reveal anus

I've just downloaded it/set it up, and unfortunately for me, in-game, it's as laggy as hell?!? I tried Pitstop II, Boulderdash, and Space Invaders, and had the same non responsiveness on all of 'em. Balls!

Yup! Mind you, my upload speed is: 0.34 Mpbs, so mebbe that has summat to do with it.

some person on rllmuk (possibly Ann/Anne Summers?) was involved in this in its early stages, which means I took an instant dislike to it. Now that it's on its hindquarters and begging for mercy (gone free-to-play), does that mean I should have a little look at it?

Well this has already annoyed me.
It's available on Android TV, but I can't for the life of me find out how to play for free. It keeps asking me to choose a plan.
I don't think they've updated the Android TV version...

It is fixed and I can now play. My guess is there's some sort of manual gubbins they need to do to get you on the free tier. It does seem vaguely shambolic.

In terms of lag it's fine. I quite like it - no way would I pay for the abysmal game selection, but for free it's nice.
