The weeping thread
Norton Juster has died. He was a million years old (91), but I am sad all the same. The Phantom Tollbooth is a great, great book.
Anybody who comes into the n3ta forest will be lost.
Everybody will become a Homfrus.
Everybody, Homfrus.
So, he's not here any more.

Indeed. RIP. He didn't do bad, though, did he? 97 years old, not bad at all. And we will always carry his Murrayisms with us.

The Beeb have flicked their telly channels back into summat approaching regular broadcasting pretty darn quick, haven't they? It would appear that they speedily discovered that it's not 1997 any more, and they can no longer pretty much control how and what viewers watch. The dicks.

They weren't "gaffes", he was being a cunt.
I wonder what he would have done if someone replied by asking him for a kebab.

Someone my dad knew at work was actual friends with Buzz Aldrin, which is amazing.

Re: The weeping thread
It is. But also a little bit frightening
Re: The weeping thread
If I were Buzz Aldrin's friend, I get him to punch more of those 'The Moon landings were fake!' people. Aldrin looked well handy the last time he did it.
Re: The weeping thread
That was 19 years ago now
