Mekaneck and his green motorbike arrived today, to be added to the growing tower of He-Man vehicles in boxes. Still no sign of the four N64 controllers for the Switch that I purchased in a mad rush last Friday before they went out of stock again.

So, he's not here any more.
this isn't a purchase or even technically a delivery but my brother moved house on friday and gave me several big boxes of things he didn't want, couldn't be bothered to move. so now i have three million cds, maybe 50 LPs, and an n64 for some reason
the big boxes of cds contain an almost infinite amount of 90s dance/etronic/whatever stuff, and also so far two cds of amazing radiophonic workshop doctor who stuff
A hice four doors up has decided to set their gardon on fire (a Protestant ceremony, perhaps? ), so we've just received a huge parcel of smerk and burny smell.
The N64 controllers showed up yesterday but I wasn't in to answer the door, because I didn't know they were coming. Today I was in, but they never showed up because 'the address is incomplete'. Nintendo's website seems to lop off the flat number, and refuses to be corrected (not that it would help at this point), so that's why - although I would have thought that enough of the address was there to get it delivered.
Anyway. I spent the afternoon in the office in various phases of fat rage, then when I got back I phoned DPD, not expecting much joy since I'm the recipient rather than the sender. But no, they've added the flat number to the parcel, and they've also now got my contact details, and all of this is showing up on the tracking info on their website. So hopefully tomorrow will bring joy, and N64 controllers.

i should probably buy a cd player for my bedroom so i can hide in there and never leave again
A week after this I went to the shops and in John Lewis they had a nice looking Panasonic CD player/hi fi thing for £70 and I thought "I might buy that next time I come to the shops" and then today was the next time I went to the shops and now it costs £110
