I tried to play it on itch.io first, but the Firefox tab crashed for some reason. It works fine on Accumulation Of Things, though. I think something may be wrongly set up on itch?

But despite that I really like it, and the whole concept

it works for me in chrome and safari (on a mac and an old ipad). i'll download firefox and give that a try. not that i know what i could do differently (i have it set up as "display fullscreen" and "enable scrollbars")

The itch.io version does work on Chrome on my Windows 11 laptop, so that's something. In the Firefox error window it said something about not being able to find a "resource", whatever that may entail. It might be one of the security things in Firefox unintentionally interfering with something that Twine is trying to do, come to think of it

this seems to be a problem with twine games made using the sugarcube engine running on itch.io in firefox. something to do with accessing memory/cookies for the save function (which is the entire reason i used this bloody version of twine in the first place)

i had to learn an entirely different bloody language for this too, as for some reason every single different story mode or whatever they're called in twine has entirely different syntax for everything

I went out in round 2 with my head held high, and poun 5 in my trou.

As Michelle says, it's a lovely concept, and I thought it was most fun to play! *double thumbs up*
