Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
I think I genuinely hated this
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
Edited down so thoroughly there's no tension, plot, character, nothing.

Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
Its not the editing that's the issue so much as letting the (new) music be mixed by so badly so that it drowns out the dialogue. What is the point of that?
Cthulu bum you!

Did they let Murray Gold back in to the mixing studio?

I wish Metal Mickey was an assistant to the boctor.
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
I quite enjoyed these doctor who’s but some of the editing in them has been utterly baffling terrible. If you can’t even manage to film some actors throwing a ball about without cutting every two seconds you should probably be banned from attempting to film some actors throwing some balls around

Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
I enjoyed the new ones quite a bit, although the first and third ones felt overstuffed and the second one felt really padded

Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
Didn’t they do the end of Flash Gordon rip-off last time that David tenants died?
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
They've definitely done it at least once before
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
The question is, why aren't they ripping it off more often
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
they should have played american football at the end
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
oh rightm well it should have starred timothy dalton then
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
I've just found out that Fulton Mackay was considered for the Doctor Who role after Pertwee (I think it was). I think he would've had the gravitas to do the role justice.

Russell T Davies obviously got a labyrinth dvd too when he bought his copy of flash gordon
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
I decided to watch the Capaldi episodes that I previously skipped and a few of them were good enough that I'm glad I did
Now I feel like I need to do the same for the last few Jodie Whittaker episodes but nobody seems to like that last "flux" mini series very much

Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
That was genuinely abysmal in almost every way (so abysmal I never bothered watching any of the ones after)
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
so i have no idea how she died
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer

Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
poor Jodie Whittaker
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
she's in a better place now
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
assuming she's not in something else written by chris chibnall
Re: Dr Who and the first 4 episodes on BBC iPlayer
Something about the master probably but mainly because it’s normally something about the master in the new ones
