Absurd old TV / movie things
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Beyonce should do a similar video but about gas cookers with eye level grills.
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I watched 3 episodes of new don’t hug me im scared before bed last night. Then all of the old ones. This was probably a mistake
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Then again it wasn’t as bad as the night before when, despite me being the only person the house, somebody woke me up by turning the light on
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
This somebody:
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I can tell they think you deserved it
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I've only watched one of the new ones so far but it was pretty great
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I still haven't got around to watching the TV 'Don't Hug', yet, but I hoep they're as good as the intnest episodes.
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Also: lovely cat, there!

Dundee-based DC Thomson went to the trouble of ascertaining as whether they'd be able to print their comics/mags/newspapers/etc, if Glasgow fell to Nazi Germany. Conclusion = ves, they'd be able to continue publashing!

Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Watched the latest dr who. You would have thought that someone at the bbc or whoever makes it would stick their hand up and say “why don’t we make something that in some way actually makes sense, even just a little bit”

I watched the bits with Tegan and Ace, and the knacked old doctros. Was good, 6 eggs.
Enjoyed seeing old Ian Chesterfield again, he's 97 you know.
Cthulu bum you!
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
i presume this is all some complex yet nonsensical way to get around the 13 regeneration limit
i won't be watching to find out, of course

Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
They threw the 13 regenerations thing in the bin about 3 doctors ago now
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I'm unsure as to whether I prefer Terrahawks to Star Fleet.
I hate it when I have to make big decisions. :'(

Children Of The Stones would've given me the terrors if I'd have seen it as a childer.

"Big Daddy's Saturday Show" ended up not going out as planned, as the titular wrestler had a heart attack only a few days before transmission. It was hurriedly retooled as just "The Saturday Show". And here's the equally hurriedly edited titles - see if you can spot the moments where they tried their best to cut Cartoon Big Daddy out of it (they had to leave one bit in):The Past wrote: LONDON WEEKEND

Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Rentaghost was on BBC4 tonight. God, I hatt Rentaghost!
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Does it make any sense when viewed as an adult? Because it never made sense when viewed as a child.
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I haven't got enough whisky in the chateau to get me through an episode of Rentaghost.
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
From what I recall, I think I just found it stupid and silly, but in a really uninteresting way.
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
And also utterly terrifying
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
It always made Deadwood scarier too because the sheriff looked just like the jester from Rentaghost, the world's most frightening being

I'm re-re-watching The Secret Service:

Whilst Brahms and Liszt.
It's both terrible and excellent at the same time

Re: Absurd old TV / movie things

Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Apparently it was made with an eye on the American market, so they chose... Stanley Unwin as lead? Uh... okay...

Oh, the thing with Stanley Baldwin as a puppet spy / vicar! I've heard of that but never watched a full episode. The theme music is astonishing
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I'm sure this Fawlty Towers reboot will be better than the originaal. Especially if it puts the boot into the Libs and the wokes.
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
My prediction is no one will ever hear about this again
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
i shuddered when saw that headline
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I think I let out a groan
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Don't mention the reboot!!!

Has it been mentioned here that Cleese is about to co-star in a new movie by noted fugitive nonce, Roman Polanski?
