“He [Carter] needs to sort his f***ing life out,” an irate O'Sullivan began. “I’m not going to skirt around it anymore, tip-toeing on egg shells around someone like that. He’s a f***ing nightmare.

“Playing snooker against someone like that is a nightmare. He’s not a nice person. It’s not a nice vibe he leaves around the table. I’ve said my piece, I don’t give a s**t. I’ve said it now, done.

"You know what he’s like, everybody knows what he’s like. He’s got issues. F***ing why has he got issues with me? I’m not having it. I don’t care, grow some balls.

“I don’t give a f**k, I don’t give a f**k about any of these snooker players, any of them. The more he brings it on, the more I f***ing punish him every time. He’s just digging a grave for himself.

“I don’t give a f**k. That’s it, I’ve said my piece.” O’Sullivan added: “He’s got beef with me. He’s got issues, he’s got to sort his life out, he’s got to see a counsellor or something.

----------

I can't wait for the next time they play each other. :D

"Games will follow current rules but with a 23rd "Riyadh Season ball" pottable on completing a maximum break.

It is not clear at this stage if the ball will be on the table throughout the game, if there will be any penalty for hitting it too early or what a player gains for potting it other than extra points in an already-won frame."

Utterly brillent!

He should've sent along Johnny "Snooker Man" Bonnar, Britain's 17th highest rated Ronnie O'Sullivanalike, in his place.

are you allowed to move it? does it get put back if you do? if you foul off it do you give up 20 points? do you have to get from the black back up to pot it off the cushion? or do they roll it somewhere easy for you to pot? does it make a noise when you pot it? is confetti released from the ceiling? does anybody even notice or care?

The Telegraph: "The biggest prize in snooker history will be offered in Saudi Arabia next year when organisers will double the money for a first ‘golden ball’ maximum 167 break to $1 million..."

A touch of class, there. P'raps if you make a 167 break, you get to wear a diamond encrusted golden crown for the rest of the tournament!
