anyway it was good to see that still there's no one at bethseda who'e ever been lucky enough to ever see a human face yet and so have had to sort of vaguely recreate them from hearsay like some medieval monks drawing animals in a bestiary

I bet Sonic was up to no good with those gold rings. It seems obvious to me now that those rings were collected, sold on, and the proceeds used to fund mercenaries operating in what was once called Zaire.

Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight[note 1] is a cyberpunk side-scrolling action platform game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. It was marketed as a science-fiction-themed spin-off to the 1987 arcade game Street Fighter. Its English localization changed the name and backstory of the main character to imply that he was Ken from Street Fighter, whereas the protagonist in the original Japanese version is a completely unrelated character named Kevin.

just finished Tears of the Kingdom

a tight "180 hours or more" experience

it was very good but I wouldn't say no to a smaller Zelda game next time... seems unlikely though given how spectacularly popular these two have been

I hope Nintendo continues to innovate, and it's new machine has a 3ft high brass funnel at the centre of it's design! :)

I guess I'll believe it when I see it. There's been next gen/switch pro rumours for a while. Also, no actual rumours about what it will be. At least with the Wii there was "revolutionary controller" and switch was "TV/handheld hybrid" rumours going for ages. Only thing I've heard is a vague "next gen tegra" which, while I'm sure would be a huge boost, would probably fall a bit flat like the Wii U.

Though if they released a new Switch with driftless controllers and controllers that I could use on the sofa without them lagging, I'd be happy.

Even more vital though is the 3ft high brass funnel at the centre of it's design.

I believe I've now got further in Wind Waker than I ever have before: seven Triforce pieces, plus the ghost ship map (which I'm pretty sure I've never found on previous attempts). Surely even I can finish it from here?
I'm still missing quite a lot of pieces of heart, though.
