This all seems to be linked to the NHS app being turned into a vaccination passport which for some reason also needs access to your entire medical history forever

Unbelievable!

At least Victorian mill owners didn't pretend to give a damn about their workers. That thing of Amazon's is worse, somehow.

Probably, although my trust levels are at absolute zero now.

Also that is such a well written article. I like how they use the same quotes 3 times, and the third time it is very slightly different.

I don't like that NHS data transfer thing. I am absolutely sure there will be at least one major "whoops, we accidentally did a mass transfer of patient data anyway!" incident between now and then, and afterward.

Not big news in any way, but...

Windows gone done an update, then upon logging back in, I had the latest news and weather in my Task Bar.

That lasted about a minute before I turned it orf. Not a major thing, granted, but adding 'features' to your 'experience', without asking beforehand, irks me.

(i hadmto reset the tv to factory settings then manually block updates to get rid of it)

When I used to have achromecast thing plugged in to the TV, that pulled its weather information from some source that was so absurdly incorrect it was amazing
