Stabbus
Stabbus
I got my first one to-day (Vauxhall AstraZeneca), when my Mom cheekily asked on my behalf whilst she was receiving her second slug of Tizer.
Moms are excellent.

Re: Jabbus
I also received my first Jabba yesterday
I'm in the middle of moving house (well, rental flat), so I can't tell if my exhaustion is due to side FX or just standard-issue stress

Re: Jabbus
I'm definitely going to get the virus before I get a chance to get the jab
I have some tests though so at least I can check after each pointless jaunt into the office

Moms continue to be excellent, but the 'feel like total crap with flu symptoms' begen about an hour after my opening post, and I curranty feel rather poorly.
Ah well, not dying is worth this short sick spell, definitely!

Re: Jabbus
I begen getting over the worst 'bout noon. Current status - majorly tired/slightly fragile, and that'll do for me at the mo!
I don't much fancy going through that again in 2-3 months, though. I mean I will, but...

please don't begin to mutate
Re: Jabbus
When did mutating become a bad thing, eh? Eh? Stop being Mutationist!
Re: Jabbus
I think people generally say you have a reaction to one jab or the other don't they? I've not heard of anyone having a bad reaction twice
Fingers crossed that is the case for you!

Re: Jabbus
Well done Homfrus and ma.
I reckon a bit more than half the people I know who had their first jab said they felt bad for a day or so afterward but then got much better.

Ta chaps!
Despite currently running a bit of a temperature, I feel so much better, so I'd go along with your comments Mr Hound.

Re: Jabbus
My second jabbus is taking place in a church.
I hope my experience there turns into something like an old Dave Allen sketch.

Re: Jabbus
I have also had none jeb. I wouldn't be surprised if my GP practice has texted me, but since my phone is in one place and I am in another, I have no way of knowing. I also suspect my obligate masklessness will be an obstruction.

Re: Jabbus
I was sent a thing saying i could book an appointment, but for some reason you can't book local appointments and the nearest ones were either harlow, southend, or central london
Re: Jabbus

Re: Jabbus
I'm pretty sure one of the options when I had a look was maldon. Maybe they were all taken. You might just need to wait for more to be available. There were none at the Harlow leisure centre first time I checked but there was the second time.
Re: Jabbus
maybe i will check again

Re: Jabbus
I just got the text! Exciting! I hate it!
Re: Jabbus
Nobody offered it to me, I've been refreshing the webpage hourly for about a month
Re: Jabbus
Hoo-ray fo' Vom und Trig! Whut you both having? AZ Alkmaar, Fisons, VACCINE47?
Re: Jabbus
I don't think you know till you get there, do you?
Re: Jabbus
I was told (via 119) that if you book through the NHS website you get AZ, but that might've changed, I guess? I dunno.
Re: Jabbus
I did not know that. I just thought they shoved literally whatever serum they had lying around into whatever arm was nearest them, in some sort of rage
Re: Jabbus
but my understanding of the process might be wrong
Re: Jabbus
I was, at the time, trying to sort out my Mom's second Pfizer jab, so I phoned up the 119 number, and that's what the chap told me (that they ((the NHS phone/website)) deal with AZ only). I wouldn't be surprised if that has changed, though. The whole situation/procedures seem rather fluid.
Re: Jabbus
I booked through NHS. The place I'm going to sounds like a pretty makeshift venue so I'd guess they'd only offer AZ as the others all (?) require the super-refrigeration I think?
