I had a problem getting out of a bean bag, once. I had to roll out, which meant that for a second, I was vulnerable to attack.

i got yet another new old sofa delivered on friday. In this 9 year round of living on my own i have lost count of the number of sofas i have replaced due to them collapsing beneath my big fat hairy arse.

There's no way i could afford a new one, so charity shop it was, again. It's quite nice i suppose. The arms have to be nice and low and soft so one can lay across it without breaking one's neck, although the back cushions are a bit lower than would be ideal.

sofa so good

I think we are too old for beanbags now

they are for the young, and flat-topped

Yup, you see some really decent ones in charity shops.

You know what would give me 'sitting anxiety'? Those capsule/pod chairs. I don't like 'em, and I think I'm a little worried about being encased inside them! :D

Agreed. I wouldn't mind a chaise longue, though. :)

I bought new sofas and my cats hollowed them out from underneath so they could sleep inside them and now they are utterly worthless

would recommend

Blimeys! :O

At least dogs only kip atop them rather than undermining them!

I enjoy 'barrel movement' when sitting on a barrel on it's x-axis.

I sit on a beanbag when I want to watch TV but I can't be bothered to go upstairs and put my contact lenses in.

Just think how frightening a large beanbag must be to an ant that finds itself on one. It must feel like all hills and valleys and that. I wouldn't like that experience if I were an ant.
