excellent. also i like the shooting lovehearts to deflect the ball mechanic. i don't think i'ver ever seen that in a breakout clone before but its good

That's both good and most impressif! *thumbs up*

Also - it plays really slowly and CPU intensively in the Opera browser, but perfectly in Firefox and Edge. So then I tried my own itch.io files in Firefox / Edge, and they performed better, too, which leads me to the conclusion that Opera is rubbs at handling these sort of things!

The funny thing is that Opera is meant to be a "gamer browser" now, that can play HTML5 stuff brillantly - except it doesn't at all and has all sorts of issues. I looked some specs for it up and the app seems to be insanely inefficent

The Opera browser people also purchased Game Maker Studio a while back. People were / are not happy

I have a subscription to Photoshop now, which enables me to try out their beta version of what will apparently be their next version of Photoshop, and it has AI art built into it and I have spent ages just making stupid shite

The web version of the Renpy engine ought to work on Safari - it might be due to it being outdated, though, as you said.

Incidentally this has had quite a few views so far. Roughly 50 or so plays in one day, which is a record for me.
