It's still amazing really that an hour of adverts for disney films was somehow considered acceptable programming by the bbc for 40 years

I'm still furious with one of my nans for telling me: David! There are some cartoons on the telly!!
Great, Nan! Thanks for telling me... oh... they're Disney cartoons! [clips]
They're the good ones aren't they?
NO THEY ARE NOT!
---
My wounds are still raw from how I was mistreated...

Can you hear me, Boctor Doo?
Are you really just a shadow of the man that I once knew?

I didn't watch Boctor Who again after Sylvestor McCoy. It never felt right.
Also, watching TV in real time one programme after the other and planning your viewing schedule seems so quaint now. My parents still do that in the evening.
I am reminded of my friend Tim at university who used to circle the programmes he wanted to watch each week in his TV guide with a red pen and organised his social life around them.

I’ve quite liked the new episodes of dr boo.
Still plenty of time to go downhill before the end though.

Also, i declare that i am profoundly in love with Delia. I wish i could have met her
