I bought a big bag of rice

but i'm pretty certain they're all exactly the same except for whatever slightly different outer shell they have

my nieces one looked like this

https://thekidcollective.co.uk/products ... mera-green

also yes, its basically that (but a different brand i think)

yes. stupid polaroid films. especially as when i used to have one (or a knockoff one anyway), about 33% of the time it never actually worked and you'd wasted a whole thing printing out pure blackness

I love the way the last thing games companies want to do is employ any game devs whatsoever

at least this means EA will be dead in five years I suppose

Fuck off EA

https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2026/10/ ... e-decades/

for the 14th season in a row

also poor old man united. i for one simply cannot believe they're crap now

i don't get it

You should get it and go synth mad

(i'll grump)

but what if its rubbish?

I assume they're basically what the old gameboy camera/printer thing was, but actually affordable, available to buy

Ves. A million times better than every shitty Polaroid knockoff thing I've ever bought, which are always ridiculously expensive/shit to use

hooray. thank you

(you can get cheapo knockoff ones on amazon for about £20 but i don't know if i dare/can afford to dare)

i want one of these cameras now

four frame zoetrope (test)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RKNXwTpLNE

(this isn't really a zoetrope at all. my neice has got one of those kids cameras with a thermal printer attached so i made this with it))

Now thats a combination i like the sound of

It's kind of frightening how fast AI image generation improved while also somehow simultaneously getting much much worse

I know. I am a pariah

also, unrelated to this film, but related to my parents musical tastes, my mum bloody loved paul young in the 80s, so i have always utterly hated love will tear us apart, not just by paul young but also subsequently by joy division and everyone else that ever covered it

even though i always hated rupert

andyet i love the frog chorus

(i think my parents also had the sountrack album, so that contributed to the dislike)

I remember watching that as a child, and it making me hate not only paul mcartney but also all the paul mccartney beatles songs he does awful versions of throughout the film, an aversion that largely exists to the present day, thus ruining every listen of revolver almost completely

I think so. Up in a cupboard in my bedroom I think

No balor unfortunately

But at the cinema

Today I watched two episodes of space 1999

of all of christian horner's crimes, i think his cardigan here might well be the worst

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2026/ ... ormula-one

i read that as "a japanese keyboard pervert"

Ever since my dream has been to drug race horses for some obscure reason

my most interesting tale yet

my grandad took me and my brother to watch a view to a kill at the cinema for some reason, when i was 7 i suppose. anyway, my grandad said he couldn't understand any of it at all, and we couldn't understand how he couldn't understand any of it all.

then 30 years later i saw it and realised exactly ...

its not that tasteless

hooray for everyone

just remember to bring them back on time otherwise you'll have to pay a fine

which presumably contributed to the horror

also in those days local authorities could just outright ban films if they didn't like them, so the only place you could watch the devils in the whole of essex was in basildon

I've presumably said this before, but when my mum and dad went to see the devils when it came out, my mum got so freaked out by the nuns being tortured she started screaming uncontrollably and then passed out, and my dad had to carry her out of the cinema like she was a corpse

only took till the middle of october

actually cold

The football managerification of politics

I like the way that the greens only coming second with five times the vote of the tories/lib dems is now a sackable offence for some reason

Hooray for unicrons

So theres not really any point in seeing it now

For some reason the internet has decided to tell me the entire plot of this, even though i have never made any attempt to know anything about it at all
