I'm playing King's Field and found this man

I'm off to see Harry Hill today hooray

Haha yeah he was shite

The Artilleryman and the Priest were great though

I saw Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds The Spirit Of Man Tour with Charlie from Busted and The Ghost Of Liam Neeson live at the O2 last Sunday

It was alright

Rondo Of Crud

I have earplugs which stop it most of the time but urgh

I keep getting swimmers ear and going deaf

Why is water not friends with ears

Eight out of ninety achievements

I don't know what more it wants from me

Don't know what you mean

They did say it's very likely it's coming to switch, somewhere

I have bought

I imagine I'll like 3 of the games. Still worth it though.

While I obviously do think Zzap64 is the best C64 magazine, I think poor old dull Commodore Format should occasionally get a mention. It helped shape me into the tedious dreary man I am today.

Kitttttiiiieees

I think the last film I saw was Civil War, which was largely forgettable. Sunshine remains Alex Garland's best, and worst film.

You might still enjoy it for nostalgia but the songs are poo and there's some very odd moments.

I have not seen Only Fools, is it still on in London, I can go do that.

Hmmm I will answer all the questions by saying it was shit, but the car DOES fly upside down at the end

I've just seen Back To The Future The Musical

If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them

"Why" is the only banned question

Needless to say I joined them immediately

People were queuing in Sainsbury's to get to the half price eggs

Thanks all
I went on a seaplane
It landed early due to weather

Happy new year all
I predict disaster

That numberplate really does look like swizpig

Happy birthday yes

Merry Christmas I got a towel with my face on it

A Miyoo Mini

I love it

Actually I do know why, it's because I got a nice new retro handheld thing, and I don't value my time at all

I might play Zelda Oracle Of Ages or Seasons

I don't know why

I wonder if it still freezes on boot if you use the "wrong" hdmi port

They've got Outrun (sit down version) at Elephant and Castle and it's real great

Yes

Also Starwing/Fox, Pilotwings, any Snes game

I was going to give IMAX another chance with Tron Legacy but they've "upgraded" it to 3D, with a "hey if you don't like this, chat to us" message that implies NO REFUNDS

I hope the Virtual Console is even more shit, and maybe you have to plug in an original cartridge to the Nintendo Anti-Piracy Device (sold separately) to play Super Tennis

I saw Mission Impossible at the BFI IMAX and it was crap, then I saw Barbie at a 40 seat community cinema and it was great
Stupid IMAX

I like how I couldn't hear anything in Oppenheimer, but apparently it's fine because Chris Nolan mixes for only high end cinemas and I guess fuck me for paying thirty quid for tickets to watch it on a slightly less massive screen

This vaguely reminds me of the Holiday Simulator in Novelty Automation in London. Novelty Automation is a collection of very n3ta style things, like the aforementioned Holiday Simulator, or Is It Art?

https://www.novelty-automation.com/

It's great.

I saw a nice film at Sundance in London called Going Varsity in Mariachi. It's a documentary about a high school mariachi team and it's pretty lovely.

Yeah they're really afraid of getting sued

When everyone was slagging off J K Rowlong in the Harry Potter thread, there were concerned voices worrying they'd get sued

Kitty been bringing in so many mice...

She cute though

Happy hot birthday to you both

Yes absolutely
I played one the other day (in real life) that had a steering wheel and a shit gun, neither of which worked very well, and together were just abysmal

Needless to say I loved it

It's beautiful

Ok I like Breath Of The Wild now
But it's still an 8/10 at best, mainly because of that thunder boss guardian guy

I saw the Apple Maps car (urgh) go past me on Fleet Street the other day

So if anyone uses Apple Maps, for some reason, maybe I'm on there

the greatest secret of the modern world is that everyone is fucking everything up, all the time

at least that's my experience

I embrace that
If you made a stupid choice, the game becomes about the consequences of that choice. There's no "winning", just different endings

Yeah it's best to think of it as "not a Zelda game". When I stopped expecting nice dungeons and a linear path, it became more bearable.

Just pick a direction and go look at stuff.

I'm going to get Metroid Prime and hide under the duvet instead

I'm trying to enjoy Breath Of The Wild, because I didn't enjoy it the first time round, but every time I get to the Zora I just want to smash my Switch up because they're so shit and creepy
