I was worried for the first 20 or so minutes, then we started to get into the game. Earps made some good saves at vital times, Mead's goal was well taken, and Russo's backheel was lovely. A 4-0 victory flattered us a touch, I thought, but we put a fair number of our chances away, and they didn't. Hurrah for England!

I'm genuinely chuffed with the win!

Our goal was reet good, the German's goal was also very good, and then everything took on an ominous hue, but somehow, just somehow, we've only gawn and bloody nicked it! HURRAH!

For some reason I watched the Southampton match

Despite considerable transfer activity we played all of our players out of position and took off our only striker at half time and played two midfielders up front

For some reason I've been actually watching some Southampton matches this season. The first two that I watched were a bit rubbish but tonight's match was BRILLIANT hooray
