So far just that one. I tried November Rain and Paradise City, but he wasn't having it. He likes a bit of Black Sabbath too, but the Trolls movie soundtrack versions.
Beach Boys Good Vibrations is another one he's obsessed with.
And Ghibli soundtracks.
I am basically creating a mini me, but he's got his own taste too.

Wasn't Kung Fu Fighting riding on the coat tails of the '70s martial arts craze, whereas I don't recall off the top of my head, the whole '70s 'burning witches' revival, but I was VERY young at the time.CandyDarling wrote: Thu Mar 25, 2021 2:37 pm This is an absolutely astounding forgotten track from the bloke who did "Kung Fu Fighting" (as in, "it was a little bit frightening"). It's like a parody but it was an actual single and everything:
Carl Douglas - Witchfinder General
Re: Moo Sick Therad
He obviously just bloody loved Vincent Price
Re: Moo Sick Therad
Find me someone who doesn't and I will find you a filthy liar
Re: Moo Sick Therad
I found Vincent Price unsettling and scary!
Re: Moo Sick Therad
The new Godspeed album is very good, especially the track Cliffs Gaze which I think is maybe my favourite thing they've done since Lift Yr Skinny Fists
Annoyingly it's a separate track on streaming but part of one longer one on Bandcamp so I can't link to it

Re: Moo Sick Therad
But I listened while on a walk and as soon as it finished I put it on again
Re: Moo Sick Therad
Hooray. I might buy it if it ever comes out on cd
Re: Moo Sick Therad
Although the last few constellation records records I went to buy never did
Re: Moo Sick Therad
there is a CD link on the bandcamp, but I'm assuming it will add a billion pounds of postage
Re: Moo Sick Therad
ah it also seems to be available from "local UK stores"! hooray
Re: Moo Sick Therad
All the local uk stores are dead
Re: Moo Sick Therad
I am buying it from one in Huddersfield because hwy not
Re: Moo Sick Therad
The only music I need is our national anthem.

This is lovely. In which a japanese man composes and records a new piece of piano music, every day, for 12 years (2669 days completed so far)

I hear cat phonographs add meow and flutter though
Her father had been an engineer and she was also continuously 'playing with forbidden things', all of which contributed to her designated position.

A live track by Life Without Buildings has surfaced on YouTube
https://youtu.be/hxJaXEHtqso
I saw them a couple of years after this and they were so good, fantastic to see this now! Also, cameo from Isobel Campbell in the audience at the end

I got this today. I've been listening to it while watching the snooker and its great, while also an unexpected amount of dread and grandeur to the playvom wrote: Fri Apr 02, 2021 2:45 pm The new Godspeed album is very good, especially the track Cliffs Gaze which I think is maybe my favourite thing they've done since Lift Yr Skinny Fists

Re: Moo Sick Therad
Music is generally preferable to the utter bollocks that is the commentary
Re: Moo Sick Therad
I had the commentary on for the last few frames. You could probably create a John Virgo simulator using the joke robot code and with the following outputs:
"He wanted the ball to run, but not that far."
"Red. Colour. Red. That's all he needs to get over the line."
"Where's the cue ball going?"
END LIST

I'd like to hear some of JV's phrases played atop one of those grim war FPS's that the kids play these days.

Re: Moo Sick Therad
my ipod has become corrupt (can't upload music to it; if you plug it inti the computer it "syncs" forever and you can't even switch the computer back off again)
this is annoying becasuse its probably impossible to buy tiny ipods anymore or if you can they'll be a hundred quid instead of 30 quid

Re: Moo Sick Therad

Re: Moo Sick Therad

Re: Moo Sick Therad
