As you both said previously, Wales were not good, their big players didn't perform, and their goalie was at least partly at fault for two of England's goals (he tried to second guess the direction of the free kick, and the third goal went through his legges).

for some reason, leicester thought it was a good idea to sell schmeichel for a million quid so danny ward could be their first choice goalie this season. which must be the most baffling thing brendan rodgers has ever done (although selling pepe reina and replacing him with simon mignolet's probably pretty close)

Not quite as good a piece of managerial sabotage as Argentina in 2006, when they were 1-0 against Germany, took absolutely everyone off to save them for the semi final, then immediately conceded a goal and had to play for penalties because literally of the worlds very best players were on the bench and everyone on the pitch was shit

Then Germany won the penalties obviously because not even Argentina can out penalty Germany. In Germany. In a world cup

I went to see Matlock Town play for the first time yesterday. It was pretty good, apart from the weather! 2-2 at the end, Matlock led twice against the run of play but Radcliffe got a last-minute equaliser for a deserved draw. High drama!

Also the beer was pretty good and I got a free jacket potato afterwards for some reason
