An Abundance Of Beasts

Post by **dng** » Fri Sep 22, 2023 9:34 pm

Enldess Knights is on 360 views, 70 browser plays. Browser plays seems to stick at almost exactly a quarter of views for all of them.

Post by **dng** » Fri Sep 22, 2023 9:35 pm

Also: no ratings, reviews or comments at all. People from b3ta obviously do not believe in such things.

re: Also:t no ratings, reviews or comments at all

Bah!

Mind you, those viewing numbers sound damn good to me! Nice one!

I don't quite understand the itch.io counters either. But I do seem to have a very low level constant stream of people browsing my stuff and occasionally giving it a shot, which is nice.

Lovely charming stuff! And I'm not just saying that because I made it through!

I befriended 13 monsters and found 4 secret monsters and told 3 stories

Hooray

Post by **dng** » Mon Sep 25, 2023 3:05 pm

There’s a secret ending also (and a secret party too somewhere) but it’s pointlessly difficult to find for some reason (the reason is I’m terrible at making games I suppose)

works best in portrait mode (cause otherwise sometimes the lower half of the amal is off the bottom of the browser)

Post by **dng** » Mon Oct 02, 2023 9:55 pm

this was originally intended to be actual printed cards for my nieces/nephews, but the logistics of printing cards made that very unlikely to be achievable

Post by **dng** » Mon Oct 02, 2023 9:55 pm

so now it's a crappy web thing and that's that

Post by **dng** » Mon Oct 02, 2023 9:56 pm

but the itch.io one will probably/hopefully be quicker)

This has been nominated as one of the best 12 websites in the entire world or something

https://tinyawards.net

which is nice

Post by **dng** » Tue Jul 23, 2024 7:13 pm

What are these awards?

Tiny Awards exist to celebrate the personal internet, what we described last year as ‘the other web, the one that is small and handmade and isn’t trying to sell you anything or monetise anything but which instead is about people using the digital tools we all have access to to make the sorts of small, personal experiences that you tend not to see ‘in feed’’.
