Just give the title to Verstappen, now, and lets go and do something less boring instead.

Post by **endar** » Wed Feb 28, 2024 9:15 pm

Post by **blombluss** » Thu Feb 29, 2024 8:57 pm

I reckons someone at Red Bull wants Horner out.

The Red Bull team/corporate infighting is more interesting than the racing, and that's not particularly thrilling in itself.

Post by **dng** » Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:16 pm

Hopefully they all get sacked somehow

Post by **blombluss** » Tue Mar 05, 2024 8:25 pm

Imagine being stuck in a lift with Christian Horner and Jos Verstappen.

Post by **endar** » Tue Mar 05, 2024 11:50 pm

who would you throttle first

Post by **vom** » Wed Mar 06, 2024 7:14 am

I would trick them into throttling each other and keep my own hands clean

With him (Chelmsford) and Albon (Ipswich) in f1, i can only assume driving up and down the A12 is a key driving skill for some reason

Finally another Essex driver

I hope Ferrari let their new sponsor HP use their printer 'expertise' to dictate their tyre strategy during races.

HP: THE CAR NEEDS FOUR NEW TYRES!

Driver: The tyres are fine, team. I'm okay

HP: THE CAR NEEDS FOUR NEW TYRES IMMEDIATELY OTHERWISE THE CAR WILL BECOME INOPERABLE!

Driver: Everything's good, team. My race pace is good.

HP: POWERING DOWN!

[the car coasts to a stop]

HP: THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING AN HP PRODUCT!

Never change Red Bull:

"Red Bull have confirmed that they are to make changes to their car as a result of discussions with governing body the FIA.

Rivals had alerted the FIA to a device in the Red Bull cockpit that they believed could be used to adjust the height of the front of the car's floor."

I found myself strangely comfortable with a Ferrari 1-2...

Post by **blombluss** » Sun Nov 24, 2024 2:26 pm

At least that's over for another year.

Post by **endar** » Sun Nov 24, 2024 3:50 pm

I've decided to watch Superbikes and motogp instead

Post by **blombluss** » Sun Nov 24, 2024 8:17 pm

That sounds like a sensible strategy!

The last bike race I watched on t'elly was the Snetterton Race of Aces in 1990/1-ish, which featured the rotary-engined all-black livery Nortons whupping Japan's finest.

Post by **endar** » Sun Nov 24, 2024 11:50 pm

That sounds pretty cool. Didn't know Norton raced
