We've mentioned Saturday morning kids telly show No. 73, before, haven't we? I'm sure we have?

I rewatched this, earlier: No. 73: S01E01
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdxgBMgei4k

And as a BBC boy (Saturday Superstore all the way!), watching that first episode of No. 73 was fascinating.

Brian's valuable contribution elicited a fair amount of chuckle-age on my part. :D

The Guardians
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQsICPfFQUM

Made in 1971 by LWT, and set in the early 80s where a Fascist coup befalls England.

I've just watched the first episode - not bad at all!

Grange Hill's Mrs McClusky is in it, but Mr Brosnan or Gonch aren't.

I watched all (13 eps) of it, then after the final part, I needed a couple of quick Red Dwarfs to enable me to function again. :)

Speaking of, I've been enjoying these series of Red Dwarf "reactions":

They're up to the middle of series seven now.

I uploaded the first 13 episodes of Murun Buchstangsangur, the early misfit Channel 4 animation from the 80s, to Youtube.

Almost an hour of "Murun"

I had to rip it from another place via unusual methods (screen recording) and then try and stitch it all together. You can see the progress bar just peeking through at the bottom of the first one, annoyingly. But it's all fine and watchable.

Hooray. I noticed that come up in my youtube recommendations recently, and watched it without realising you'd uploaded it (such is the weird length youtube seems to go to to hide all your friends videos from you as much as possible)

I agree, but how much would ongoing hosting costs be, do you reckon? I've really no idea.

A reet shame, 'bout the site, mind. :(

Apparently the main reason why they've deleted the entire site was because random third parties kept trying to shake them down for using old photos and bits of music and stuff. They did want to keep it up online but the copyright wankers targeting them made it too much of a hassle.

My understanding is that they've made a full backup of the final version of the site, and they're hoping to be able to distribute that some day.

Oh, and I uploaded this odd one-off Denis Norden programme from 1992 a while back:

Hooray. I watched that the other day. The constant mocking audience laughter at things that just aren't funny at all but actually kind of good gave me flashbacks to being at school

I only found out a few days ago that before Bodie (Lewis Collins) and Doyle (Martin Shaw) were The Professionals, they were the baddies (although not named Bodie and Doyle) in an episode of The New Avengers.

This changes everything! :D
