Moo Sick Therad
Re: Moo Sick Therad
If George Martin is now a zombie, then they can get him back in the studio for a much needed remix.

Re: Moo Sick Therad
I like the folky ones, but the METAL one is excellent! The 60s Merseybeat tracks don't sound quite right to me, and the "Britpop" one is pretty decent. Also - pleasing lyrics across the board!

I listened to Jack Your Body, by Steve 'Silk' Hurley, about an hour ago, and it still contains a fair amount of wallop.
That is all.

Well, they're no friends of mine.
Her father had been an engineer and she was also continuously 'playing with forbidden things', all of which contributed to her designated position.

An Oasis reunion? More reheated 'Cool Britannia'-ness? Ugh!
And I say that as someone who owns Definity Maybenot, and still rates it!

I used to really like Whatever, for some reason
Re: Moo Sick Therad
its because they stole the melody off neil innes (i think)

Yes, How Sweet to be an Idiot, which he did live at the Hollywood Bowl

I also liek the one which ripped off REM (The One I Love), I think it was.
Re: Moo Sick Therad
And will Blur reform in response?
Re: Moo Sick Therad
Cigarettes and Alcomohol was blatantly T-Rex at the start
and of course The Beatles were everywhere, and a bit of Imagine in Don't Look Back in Wanger

Re: Moo Sick Therad
I hope you and Alban both have John Dee-type berads, for it is that that gave him his insight.

I'm currently listening to The Fall covering the kids cartoon Ulysses 31 theme tune.

And I think they helped out Oasis and teaching Liam how to sing, in the early days, too! Blimeys!

Re: Moo Sick Therad
I think they supported Ocean Colour Scene when I went to see them (for my friend's birthday, in my defence)
Terrible
Terrible
Re: Moo Sick Therad
I've always liked OCS's name, and I think Britain would be a happier place if those punchy three worded Stop The Boats / Brexit Means Brexit / etc phrases, were all replaced with 'Ocean Colour Scene'!
Re: Moo Sick Therad
I liked OCS, but preferred ECS or AGA
Re: Moo Sick Therad
I'll get you for this!!!
Re: Moo Sick Therad
I see Supergrass are touring again.
Even though I prefer the moo sick o' Oasis, I'd much rather go and watch t' grass, as it'll be a lot more enjoyable as a gig, I reckons.

Re: Moo Sick Therad
They're playing in Nottingham and for some reason the venue's full description of the band was "Shoegaze-influenced legends". Which... doesn't really convey what they sound like very well, does it?
I saw them twice in the late 90s and remember them being one of the best live bands I saw in that era. I never saw Oasis though, maybe they were EVEN BETTER

They appeared at the poor dead Harlow Square just before they made it big, which kickstarted their stardom
