Also, hope you're feeling a bit more betterer again to-day, Davuss.

I've got a flu jab next week, which is exciting, isn't it? :)
Due to the booking system double booking every slot, my appointment was going to be 90 minutes late, so I sodded off home unstabbed, rather than sit next to coughing peeps for the duration of a football match.

I’ve been stabbed in both arms… 1 flu, 1 covid. Just waiting for them to meet in the middle.

Mother had them both in one arm - a decision she came to regret some hours later!

Probably depends which vaccine you get

If it's the one that can cause blood clots or something maybe that's not advisable

I have what is apparently not Covid (tested on Saturday) but instead some sort of time-lost cold. Sequence so far:

Tuesday: fine, sneezing a bit towards the end of the day
Wednesday: basically fine, but can feel I've caught something
Thursday: roaring sore throat at 7.30 when rudely awoken by the dustman, this goes by about 3pm, unwell but not drastically so
Friday: virtually no symptoms of any kind, feel very cheerful
Saturday: worse than Friday but better than Thursday, feel well enough to go to classics reunion at college and the pub afterwards
Sunday: about the same, start feeling congested
Monday: worst day since Thursday, still congested

I don't know what to make of it at all.

I'm basically fine, it's just that I'm used to feeling worse then feeling better, so this is confusing me. I must have caught this cold off Benjamin Button or something.

Ugh, not nice, that, Bruce. That cold needs to stick to the rules (ill then better - the end)

I've just had my flu jab, I forgot it was today until I got a calendar notification 15 minutes before the appointment which was quite fun, I managed to make it with a minute to spare

didn't get offered a COVID jab this year even though I did last year, not sure why

The Govt are absolute bastards, and thick short-term thinking bastards at that. Only 75+ peeps and those with severely immunosupressed immune systems are eligible this time round.

My mom got her jabbus at the chemists today, and they offered me one for some reason, even though I'm not eligible, but I took it, and I now feel as fragile as fook! I'm not complaining though!
