If they were confident of their snicko shite they'd have just disallowed it, rather than send the ref to the monitor and make him disallow it via a replay from a million miles away that doesn't show either way whether he touched it or not (while not showing the view that shows he never touched it at all, or at least not in any noticeable way or with any notceable affect on the ball)
