Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I never liked Tottie when it was on but didn’t realise it was like cbbc’s Threads until recently.

I missed Tottie at the time, and have never felt able to remedy this. It is the only Smallfilms programme I am too terrified to watch.

I was going to post something here about Tottie but I can't work out censor / spoiler tags. They don't appear to work here like they're meant to
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I think after 40 years the spoiler tags are unnecessary

Well, it's not really about the show itself, but... ah, to hell with it. What I was going to say was that Stuart Ashen showed the whole series over a period of weeks on his Twitch stream, and he played a joke on us by editing the ending with the help of a friend of his who knew how to use Blender. Basically the edited joke version we saw ends with Tottie bursting into flames and collapsing and dying for no reason at all. Entire chat (including me) were bewildered until Stuart revealed the prank. It was genuinely really well done

Excellent, good old Ashens

If you reveal how Silas concludes, then I swear to God I will absolutely lose my shit!
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
Also Heidi.
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
I don’t think either Heidi or Silas ever actually ended… just went on forever
Re: Absurd old TV / movie things
In the final episode of Heidi all the goats got set on fire
