the party is hosted by Arabs and the English turned up as crusaders

that actually happened when i worked for Pearson. Can't remember exact details but it was something like visitors from the Dubai office coming over and there was a fancy dress party.

Also - well done England. Germany put in a Euro 2000-tastic performance, and we deserved to win. I still don't think we were that much cop, but we were solid defensively, and scored two good goals. And next up is either Sweden or Ukraine, so... Semi-Finalists?

Switzerland / Spain - I think the Swiss will try to do to Spain what they did to France, but I've just got a sneaking feeling that Spain will edge past via a goal scored in extra time. Also, Switzerland... should the situation arise, don't let Rodriguez take ANY MORE PENALTIES!

Belgium / Italy - I can't see anything else other than an Italian victory in normal time. Both are dangerous teams going forward, but Belgium's defence is more likely to be breached, I reckons!
