food thread (also drinks)

Post by dng »

i bought one of those shit cheap tesco bottles of dandelion and burdock (80P for 2 litres) because there's no way I can afford the expensive nice dandelion and burdocks (£3.50 for not even a fucking a litre)

anyway it might well be the most undrinkable drink i've ever tried to drink. shite

it wasn't too bad when it was still fizzy, but when it was flat it the most disgusting thing ever

A couple of weeks ago, I had some £1 chicken nuggets from Sainos, and they were as bad as you'd imagine - mush in breadcrumbs. Ugh.

Also, I can't even remember whether I like dandy lion and bird duck, since it's been so long since I drank the stuff. Does it taste somewhat like ribena or vimto?

This particular dandelion and burdock tastes like someone has liquefied some artificially sweetened slugs

I've just given up pork pies and sausage rolls.

I'm currently in the foetal position, sweating, crying, and hallucinating.

Logged into the Sainos website - cheapest lemonade 2L £1.15 (R Whites)
Logged out of the Sainos website - cheapest lemonade 2L £75p (Sainos)

Whut?!?

Is their website seriously telling me that the enormo Sainos we get out order from, doesn't in any way stock their own branded lemonade? Or they don't wish to sell it to us?

The same thing happens with their cheapo own brand beer, too.

Unless I'm missing something here (which is possible!), that's odd, right?

I ended up purchasing 2L bottles of cola for 49p, and it's quite nice, so take that LEMONADE CAPITALISM!

Also - America's Cloudy Lemonade pop is an abomination.
