I've now bailed out of two different series of GH due to them both being (on the whole) pretty grim, and I ended up having to watch Threads to cheer myself up. :D

Mr Robson is drunk and banging on about the OFSTED crab people, unlike Mrs McClusky who didn't have the guts to reveal the truth!

Um... okay...
Grange Hill now feels like a cheapo Grange Hill knock-off. The shots are tighter, the classrooms are rather smaller, and there are only 12 or so pupils in each lesson. The 85% Scouse 15% Londahhn cast is jarring also. Well it is to me, anyway.

I remembered the zany theme tune the moment it started playing, but nothing of the show itself. Although I do also recall the title, due to its annoyingly punning nature

Poor bullied Matthew in GH became the slightly insane youth who thought he was Italan in RR.

Was her Philomena Cunk character a talking head on Screen Wipe? I quite liked her on that, but I don't think anything else she's done since has grabbed me.

Also I think I might require a b/f or g/f who is a BBC comedy commissioner... :D

AI slop has come for Youtube uploads of the entire first series of On The Hour:

See if you can spot the problems with this terrible, terrible thumbnail! (Hint: it's absolutely everything)

The actual show itself seems to be unaffected, although the video seems to at least start with a zooming out picture of a man in a forest for reasons only known to the uploader who nicked the audio from another YT upload which had a more normal thumbnail

I watched the first episode of The Demon Headmaster vesterday. Terrence Hardiman was aces, and Danny John-Jules (in a much smaller role) was piss.

I quite enjoyed it. 7/10.

I didn't know that...

Carry On stalwart Peter Butterworth failed an audition for the 1950 Stalag Luft escape film The Wooden Horse, as he 'didn't look right for the part', which must've been a surprise to him as he actually took part in the real Stalag Luft escape attempt. :D
